Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals' lives by supporting workers and employers in achieving timely and optimal recovery and return to work outcomes.

As an Industry Return to Work specialist, you will deliver high-quality engagement to all stakeholders involved in the return-to-work process and proactively lead the recovery and return to work.

The position requires delivering injury management, return to work, and claims management services that drive early and safe return to work.

You will conduct a holistic assessment of the worker and employer's situation to identify and proactively drive the resolution of biopsychosocial barriers with the treating team.

The successful candidate will have prior experience within a clinical role or within an injury management field educating workers and employers in the health benefits of safe work and activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Health Nurse
  • Prior experience within a clinical role or within an injury management field educating workers and employers in the health benefits of safe work and activity
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of work injury insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build trust, engage, influence, and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to make decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and contribute to an evolving program of work
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
