Job Overview

We are seeking a highly ambitious Senior Process Engineer to support the development, optimization, and improvement of processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability for major capital works programs.

The Role
  • This position involves working closely with project delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation of process engineering.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical reports, process engineering documentation, and standard operating procedures for projects in the chemicals and agricultural sectors.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing technical reports, process engineering documentation, and standard operating procedures for projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors.
  • Works effectively with multi-discipline and cross-functional teams to ensure process engineering is developed for seamless implementation.
  • Ensures all processes and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Reviews process hazard analyses (PHA), HAZOPs, and LOPAs to identify and mitigate potential risk.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' direct experience on projects in major hazards facilities (MHF).
  • Demonstrable experience of embedding process safety considerations into all aspects of process engineering and design development.
  • Proven experience of being directly involved on projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Bachelor's degree in chemicals engineering (or related field).
  • Must be available to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria.
