We are seeking a motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a key role in helping maintain the functional independence of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Enhance the wellness and lifestyle capacity of residents through exercise and activities focused on restorative and rehabilitative programs.">
  • Deliver exercise and therapy programs both 1:1 and in small groups in accordance with care plans.">
  • Assist with client assessments and re-assessments of their physical capabilities as part of their exercise and therapy programs.">
  • Ensure residents have access to assistive devices as assessed by physiotherapists.">
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as equipment ordering and liaison with families.">
  • Assist with facility cleanliness.">
  • Report relevant changes to physiotherapists regarding resident progress with exercises.">
  • Report changes in resident health or behavior immediately to registered nurses or facility managers.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (desired), or working towards a Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy degree.">
  • Computer and phone technology literacy (including Microsoft Office and Outlook).">
  • Vaccinations up to date or willing and able to obtain, as required by legislation and company policy.">
  • Right to work in Australia.">
  • Current 'Provide First Aid' Certificate and CPR.">
  • Physical ability to perform stated duties.">
