Rehabilitation Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team.

  • Assist and shadow the rehab consulting team in conducting worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home ADL assessments.
  • Prepare and submit reports as well as perform other administrative tasks.
  • Design, implement and monitor programs to support injured employees' return to work.
  • Foster effective relationships with clients, medical practitioners, insurers and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess qualifications or current enrollment in Exercise Physiology or broader health disciplines registered under AHPRA: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Chiropractic, Medical, Nursing & Midwifery, Optometry, Paramedicine, Pharmacy, Podiatry.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and be able to travel for work-related purposes.
  • Demonstrate understanding of workers compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with insurers, medical practitioners, employers and employees.
  • Showcase ability to deliver high-level customer service and contribute to business growth through increased referrals.
  • Display proven organization and time management skills.
