About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Super Retail Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category plans that align with our strategic project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Planning: Develop and implement category plans that align with our strategic project initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to budget, and with a focus on procurement cost optimisation and minimising risk.
  • Tender Management: Own the end-to-end tender process, including sourcing and contract management activities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract outcomes that meet our business needs.
  • Contract Compliance: Maintain contract compliance and ensure that suppliers meet their obligations.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Manage supplier performance and ensure that they meet our expectations.
About You

We are looking for someone with experience in traversing a matrixed business, who has previously led projects and has knowledge of dealing with IT vendors, particularly enterprise software vendors and system integrators. You will have:

  • Strong Procurement Knowledge: Strong knowledge and experience across procurement, with depth in transforming operational ownership to strategic management.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning within a highly operational environment.
  • Agile Mindset: An Agile mindset and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Change and Project Management: Change and project management experience, including managing stakeholders and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Senior stakeholder engagement and management skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in a Similar Organisation: Experience working in a similar organisation with in-peak trade periods – seasonal or cyclical.
