Retail Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Manager to lead our case managers in assessing long-term, Death and Terminal Illness claims.
- Lead and support a team of case managers in managing complex claims across Income Protection, Death and Terminal Illness.
- Owning a small portfolio of cases and providing expert guidance to the team on best practice and Zurich's claims philosophy.
The ideal candidate will have solid end-to-end experience in retail life claims, with strong policy interpretation skills and knowledge of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice). They should also have a broad understanding of medical, financial, legal, product, and regulatory aspects of life insurance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of complex claims.
- Providing coaching, mentoring, and role-modeling expertise to the team.
- Sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Reviewing and updating procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contributing to key projects and finding innovative solutions.
