Project Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to work with our project teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating design changes, and reviewing project requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage work schedules and coordinate design changes with the project owners.
  • Have working knowledge of the scope of a project and regularly consult with field operations, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Review project requirements daily, make adjustments to the project schedule, analyze specifications, and track all contract pay items.
  • Update the project schedule with input from Field Operations per the contract specifications.
  • Compile subcontractors' bids and estimates and distribute contract documents at the project site for management input.
  • Work directly under the Project Management team.
  • Oversee and ensure Safety Policies are followed; safety is everyone's top priority.
  • Assist the Project Manager with project setup and closeout.
  • Process & track all Submittals & RFIs (including logs).
  • Create & maintain the Project CPM Schedule with logic input from Project Management and Field Operations.
  • Assist Project Operations with two-week Look Ahead schedules, especially for FDOT Projects which require weekly two-week CPM look ahead with resource loading.
  • Attend, maintain, and assist in maintaining minutes for Weekly Progress Meetings when the owner does not provide them.
  • Coordinate with Survey regarding project issues requiring survey involvement or RFI requests.
  • Ensure that contract drawings are correctly conformed to EOR revisions, RFIs, and CSI modifications.
  • Assist Project Manager with quarterly Look Ahead Schedules and projected resource needs.
  • Provide accurate quantities from the field, with assistance from the project superintendent, for billing, cost control, projections, and cost to complete support. Load these quantities in Heavy Job.
  • Review Labor and Equipment reports with field personnel related to budget.
  • Assist in scheduling, tracking, and coordinating subcontractors and permanent materials deliveries.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
