The Azure Networking team continues to innovate across the stack, pushing new scale and features into cloud and desktop platforms while transforming infrastructure to meet growing needs of Artificial Intelligence infrastructure and several hundred thousand customers using Azure Services to host and run their Cloud Services in over 100 datacenters, running millions of servers and edge computing nodes all over the world.

Our teams work on breadth of networking software defined offerings from Software Load Balancer, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, and other diverse set of services.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Determining user requirements for a set of features with stakeholders
  • Contribute to identification of dependencies and development of design documents for product area with little oversight
  • Creating and implementing code for product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable
  • Contributing to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and providing estimation
  • Acting as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gaining approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems
  • Remaining current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that will improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale
