The role of Accounting & Reporting Specialist has arisen within a leading organisation in the retail industry.

Job Summary:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including IFRS and GAAP.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, involving reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Maintain the integrity of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and statutory reporting requirements, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely and insightful financial information and analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
  • Be studying towards or a qualified CPA or CA candidate, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis is required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and data analytics tools is necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication are vital for success in this role.
