Accounting & Reporting Specialist Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Accounting & Reporting Specialist.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting & Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Maintain the integrity of general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to queries.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Accounting or a related field, and proven experience in financial reporting or general ledger accounting. You will also need to have strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet tight deadlines.
