Job Overview

This key leadership role drives the financial integrity, operational excellence and strategic insight of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process ensuring accuracy of financial and management reporting
  • Oversee compliance obligations including BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax
  • Manage audit and tax relationships to meet statutory requirements
  • Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate external audits
  • Maintain effective revenue recognition processes and support billing system accuracy
  • Assist in preparing board reporting packs and contribute to business performance insights
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring to a team of finance professionals
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, processes and controls
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting or equivalent with a recognised financial accounting qualification (CPA or CA)
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing finance teams with a track record of building capability and driving high performance
  • Proven ability to oversee end-to-end financial operations including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and improving financial systems, policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
