Job Title: Career Guidance Specialist
Make a Difference in Employment Coaching
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Career Guidance Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalized action plans
- Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals
- Collaborate with community organizations to create opportunities for participants
- Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation
- Referral services to increase long-term employment outcomes
- Ensure compliance requirements are met
About You:
- Experience in customer service, client-facing, or administrative roles
- Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, with well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments and develop case plans
- Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative solutions
- Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders
- Excellent computer skills
Requirements:
- Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Current and valid Driver's License
- Eligibility to work in Australia
