Plans & Permits Coordinator

">Job Description:

We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Plans & Permits Coordinator to join our Doncaster Head Office team. The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with draftspersons to obtain architectural drawings
  • Engage building surveyors & assist in obtaining building permits
  • Book inspections for all building permit projects
  • Engage with councils for variation permits, including planning, asset protection, report & consent
  • Liaise with supervisors & estimators
  • Update & manage sub-contractor trade base
  • Develop KPI measures for plans & permit services to meet organisational requirements
  • Ensure all insurance certificates for work cover & public liability are current
  • Attend project sites on an ad hoc basis
  • Undertake general administrative tasks
">Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Building Surveying, Construction or Trade Qualification, with experience in the Building & Construction industry an advantage. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner, are essential. A can-do, positive attitude and willingness to learn are also key.
