We are seeking a reliable and empathetic individual to provide personalized assistance with household tasks for clients, supporting them to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care that embraces the experience of ageing. You will have the opportunity to build long-lasting trusted relationships with your clients and make a real difference in their lives every day.
A day in the life as a Domestic Assistant may see you:
- Supporting clients with daily living activities as outlined in their care plans and regularly reviewing these plans to ensure an up-to-date understanding of their needs and circumstances.
- Carrying out duties of general cleaning and support around clients' homes.
- Monitoring clients and their environments, reporting any issues or concerns to your manager.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role. A current driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and First Aid/CPR qualifications are also required.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold professional references, complete a police check, and provide proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia.
