Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities to join our workplace technology team.

This is a unique opportunity for individuals looking to enhance their career in IT and develop expertise in Windows 10 upgrades, migration tools, and change management.

  • Assist with the upgrade of AVD instances from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
  • Plan, track, and report progress to management.
  • Engage vendors, script, or use migration tools creatively.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and users to ensure smooth migration.
  • Assist with change management and prepare change requests.
  • Maintain an issues register, identify risks and issues impacting the project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Upgrade multiple AVD instances from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive upgrade plan.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Ability to manage timelines, track progress, and coordinate team efforts.
  • Strong communication skills, including written updates.
  • Experience deploying applications with SCCM or similar tools (preferred).
  • PowerShell scripting experience (favorable).
  • Experience with AVD, VMware, or similar (preferred).
  • Solid support background in Windows 10 desktop OS.
  • Ability to perform bare-metal builds using SCCM, InTune, or similar.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
