Windows 11 Upgrade and SOE Deployment Project Lead

The organization seeks a highly experienced project lead to oversee the Windows 11 upgrade and secure Standard Operating Environment (SOE) deployment across its enterprise environment.

This role requires technical leadership for the design, build, and rollout of a Windows 11 SOE. The selected candidate will lead planning, architecture, and execution of Windows 11 deployments in a hybrid environment.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality technical outcomes.
  • Oversee development and execution of test plans covering OS images, application compatibility, deployment success, and security baseline compliance.
  • Produce clear documentation for technical stakeholders and governance bodies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical risks, particularly in areas where network limitations affect Intune / Autopilot deployments.
  • Manage integration of third-party solutions and services.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Windows 10 / 11 deployment projects in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, or test security baselines and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Expertise in Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot in a hybrid environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows 10 / 11 enterprise features and OS deployment processes.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles affecting device deployment and cloud services.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with external service providers and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
