About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing project start-up, procurement, delivery, and project close-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Administration: Oversee project start-up, procurement, delivery, and project close-out.
  • Commercial Reviews: Conduct comprehensive commercial reviews of Head contracts and Agreements.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract departures for Head Contract and Subcontract agreements.
  • Reporting: Prepare month-end cost reports, update forecasts, and participate in cost reviews and meetings.
  • Subcontract Management: Prepare scopes of work and packages for subcontractors and prepare subcontract/supply agreements.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor commissioning activities including documentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Contractual Notices: Draft and issue contractual notices promptly and maintain record.
  • Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomes.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring previous experience in a varied contract administration role, along with:

  • Contract Administration Knowledge: An understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with all project contract agreements and able to negotiate terms and conditions with stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration Skills: Sound working knowledge of contract administration and cost control skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Negotiation Skills: Positive negotiation, conflict, and influencing skills.
  • Communication Skills: Written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
