Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering work orders, including fault finding, repairs, and servicing of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.

The role involves performing administrative tasks, documenting work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system, and ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, policy, and procedures.

  • Deliver allocated work orders
  • Service, repair, and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches
  • Perform administrative tasks and document work progressions
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Mechanical Trades across large maintenance programs and networks
  • Current C Class Driver Licence
  • Trade Mechanical certificate
  • Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)
  • Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)
  • Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)
  • Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity)
  • Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)
