We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical technician to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, overhauling, and repairing machinery and equipment in a fast-paced environment. This includes:

  • Maintaining and operating preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment and facilities are safe, operational, and robust.
  • Delivering prompt responses for all requests for mechanical repairs through the Maintenance Requisition system.
  • Providing technical advice and performing maintenance fitting duties as required.
  • Detailing machine components, assemblies, layouts, and performance specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical engineering skills and experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding and thermal cutting techniques.

A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Certificate III Trade in Fitting and Turning is essential, along with 3 years' experience in a similar role. Good written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.
