**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Officer to support the Executive Director in strengthening Queensland's building and construction industry.

This is a key role within our organisation, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Briefing Notes and Correspondence: Develop and process briefing notes, executive correspondence, and ministerial requests to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Relationship Building: Consult, negotiate, and develop effective relationships with QBuild and the Department to address issues and achieve business outcomes.
  • Reporting: Coordinate reporting of sensitive and confidential information to and from the Office of the Executive Director, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Analysis and Advice: Provide analysis and independent advice on policies and issues impacting organisational and operational responsibilities.
  • Special Projects: Undertake special projects to research, analyse, and report on organisational and operational performance issues.
  • Secretariat Support: Provide secretariat support to committees, ensuring timely distribution of agenda, minutes, presentations, and follow-up actions.
