About SummitCare

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accommodation Manager to provide support, leadership, program development and supervision of our accommodation services and admin team, located in Waverley.

  • Strong finance experience in aged care
  • Legislative compliance and adherence
  • Admin team management and support
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Occupancy management, family liaison, and admission requirements
  • Room presentation, housekeeping, and maintenance

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years proven leadership experience in health, particularly client/case management, quality management, incident management, and resolution
  • Working in an aged care environment
  • Knowledge of the changing environment in the health sector, including funding, supplier market, and emerging trends in service delivery
  • Exemplary customer service skills, demonstrated experience in holistic customer care needs, team development, delegation, and mentoring skills
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, continuous quality improvement and organisational change
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle volumes of competing priorities, and confidential matters while displaying discipline, discretion, and integrity
  • Highly developed organisational skills, ability to maintain attention to detail while multi-tasking
  • A high level of computer literacy with extensive experience in Microsoft Office and electronic data management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare reports using clear, concise language that is appropriate for the intended audience
  • Commercial acumen to develop strategies that create business growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in dealing with sensitive information and adverse events
  • Participation in networking and continuous professional development
  • Demonstration of an understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
