We are a leading provider of aged care services in Sydney and Newcastle, with a mission to enable wellbeing for our residents. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support, and we are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to join our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catering management and maintenance of high standards
  • Laundry management and quality control
  • Property management and upkeep of facilities
  • Work Health and Safety champion, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Recruitment and staff development, building a high-performing team
  • Shift management and coordination
  • Reporting responsibilities, providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Strong finance experience, managing budgets and resources effectively
  • Ensuring legislative compliance and maintaining high regulatory standards
  • Leading the admin team, driving efficiency and productivity
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills, growing occupancy and revenue
  • Occupancy management, meeting with families, scheduling tours, and discussing admission requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in health, particularly client/case management, quality management, incident management, and resolution
  • Working in an Aged Care environment, with a deep understanding of the sector's challenges and opportunities
  • Knowledge of the changing environment in the health sector, including funding, supplier markets, and emerging trends in service delivery
  • Exemplary customer service skills, demonstrated experience in holistic customer care needs, team development, delegation, and mentoring
  • An understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement and organisational change
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handling volumes of competing priorities and confidential matters while displaying discipline, discretion, and integrity
  • Highly developed organisational skills, ability to maintain attention to detail while multi-tasking
  • A high level of computer literacy with extensive experience in Microsoft Office and electronic data management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret data and prepare reports using clear, concise language suitable for the intended audience
  • Commercial acumen to develop strategies that create business growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in dealing with sensitive information and adverse events
  • Participation in networking and regular undertaking of continuous professional development
  • Demonstration of an understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
