Job Overview

This role focuses on the comprehensive process of client identification and verification. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal part in combating financial crime and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough CDD / KYC and AML checks for new customers, adhering to local regulatory standards and Group procedures.
  • Issue client documentation, including initiation of DOCS give up agreements, as per local regulations and exchange requirements.
  • Perform customer categorizations according to local regulatory demands.
  • Meet daily performance targets set by the Onboarding Manager.
  • Maintain the onboarding pipeline, administering tasks, allocation, and updates on a daily basis.
  • Input and manage client and static data into Client Data Base [Neon Onboarding and PeopleSoft].
  • Ensure complete records of all customer documentation.
  • Communicate case progress to the Front-Office, Co-Ordination Team, and Quality Control Teams.
  • Request Business Head approval in line with MF requirements.
  • Attend weekly Business Line prioritization check-in calls.
  • Support ad-hoc reviews, projects, and audits as needed by the Onboarding department.
  • Efficiently handle day-to-day queries.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Crime team.
  • Inform management of issues and developments.
  • Comply with company's regulatory obligations under FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS, SFC, and ASIC, AUSTRAC.
  • Adhere to operational risk framework, ensuring regulatory or company-determined parameters are met.
  • Demonstrate highest level of integrity and conduct, reflecting Company Values.
  • Comply with AUSTRAC and ASIC Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Aware of and adhere to internal policies related to your role or activities.
  • Report policy breaches to Compliance and/or manager as required.
  • Escalate risk events immediately.
  • Provide input to risk management processes as necessary.
