Job Title: Boilermaker

We are seeking an experienced boilermaker to join our team on a fixed-term project contract basis.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to work closely with electrical construction teams to fabricate and assemble structural solutions for electrical and instrumentation installations in an underground hard rock mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble structural solutions for electrical and instrumentation installations
  • Interpret engineering drawings and develop simple mark-ups
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality in a mining/heavy industrial environment
Requirements
  • Australian recognised trade qualification – Boilermaker (fabrication)
  • Excellent attitude to safety
  • 5 years’ experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop simple mark-ups
  • Hold a current C Class Australian driver’s license
  • Current Working at Heights certificate
  • EWP (Over 11 metres)
  • White construction card
  • Previous experience working in/with electrical teams will be an advantage but not essential
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks
