Job Title: Enterprise Release Manager

Australian citizenship is required to work in this position.

The role involves governing enterprise-wide release management activities, including uplifting processes and documentation maturity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-program alignment in environments with interdependent delivery streams.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Govern the integrated release calendar for enterprise systems and program deployments
    • Determine the most effective deployment strategies
    • Coordinate release activities across business units, technical teams, and project delivery groups
  • Process and Documentation Uplift:
    • Review and improve release and deployment processes, aligned to industry standards
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive release documentation (procedures, templates, runbooks, decision logs)
  • Strategic Program Governance:
    • Oversight of releases within large ICT programs
    • Evaluate alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and readiness requirements
    • Collaborate with senior program/project managers to identify dependencies, risks, and impacts
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:
    • Advise senior stakeholders on release risks, impacts, and mitigations
    • Communicate complex technical/scheduling matters to business leaders

Suitable Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level release management in complex ICT environments
  • Strong understanding of program governance, ICT delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and enterprise change processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executives and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to lead cross-program alignment in environments with interdependent delivery streams
