About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue and Receivable Officer to join our Accounts team at our Head Office in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing resident data, processing banking and billing, and reconciling refunds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resident data, including entry, transfer, and departure information in our system.
  • Process banking, billing, direct debits, and reconcile refunds according to RFBI policies.
  • Follow up on outstanding debtors, liaise with Villages, and escalate bad debts as per RFBI's policies.
  • Update residents' management system (Epicor) and reconcile information provided by the Department.
  • Conduct reconciliations, end-of-month reporting, and review individual resident funding received for Government funding.
  • Assist Village/Service staff, consumers, and relatives with account inquiries, providing statements, invoices, and addressing system errors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and RFBI policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in revenue and receivable functions (aged care experience is desirable).
  • Experience in Epicor software (desirable)
  • Excellent skills in analytical tools including MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
