The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented technical leader to drive the development of the next generation of Command, Control, Communications & Computers (C4) systems for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). As a key member of our team, you will apply a systems thinking approach to designing and executing a complex system of systems integration and verification program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic approaches and plans for future complex integration & verification activities
  • Guide the detailed planning and conduct of verification activities
  • Work with systems engineers and product designers to understand and influence system design and evolution
  • Liaise with end users, customers, suppliers and other peer organizations to ensure that I&V work is well coordinated and addresses their needs and risks

Requirements

  • Have a track record of delivering large programs of integration and verification work into a complex stakeholder environment, preferably for defence customers
  • Have experience in designing and operating system integration labs and other environments
  • Possess an engineering background in systems engineering and/or product engineering in the communications domain
  • Desirably have specific experience in working with deployed land systems in challenging communications environments
  • Desirably have experience in applying digital engineering/modelling and simulation techniques as part of complex verification campaigns
