About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Land and Approvals Specialist to join our team at AGL. As a key member of our Environmental, Earth & Geosciences team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our energy projects and operational assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise the Integrated Energy Senior Leadership team on regulatory and environmental matters related to our land and approvals strategy.
- Lead and support project teams to manage the evaluation and execution of land, infrastructure, and regulatory approvals for our operational sites.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams to negotiate regulatory and other approvals.
- Develop and implement strategies and project timelines for obtaining approvals for energy projects and operational assets.
- Coordinate environmental assessments and lead the evaluation process for operational assets.
- Identify opportunities for improvements, innovation, and efficiencies across Land and Approvals.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or equivalent.
- 8+ years' experience in a Land & Approvals role.
