The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the design of complex systems comprised of edge and cloud computing elements, sensing and sensor processing communicating using fixed and wireless networks.
  • Collaborate with product management and business teams to transform product and business requirements into designs.
  • Leverage automation and simulation frameworks for product development and verification.
  • Apply a pragmatic, risk-based approach to ensure successful system development.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality systems.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience working on complex systems.
  • Strong software development background, preferably in Python and C++.
  • Experience developing specifications from requirements and creating tooling and processes to validate systems against these requirements.
  • Experience with the mining industry and/or mining operational systems such as Asset Health or Fleet Management.
  • Bachelor Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.
