Operations Manager

Bunnings is the leading retailer of home improvement and lifestyle products in Australia and New Zealand, catering to consumer and commercial customers through a network of stores, trade centres, frame and truss sites, and online.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Balgowlah Store team, contributing to our ongoing success. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional customer experiences and achieves business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the store leadership team in driving business results and implementing strategies
- Set an example of best service behavior and coach the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers
- Assist with inducting and training the team on retail operations and customer service standards
- Ensure that merchandising standards align with business requirements and coordinate stock effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supervising and leading customer-facing teams in a high-safety and high-compliance environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to drive business decisions
- Passion for customer service and ability to coach and develop others
- Ability to achieve results and standards by working collaboratively with the team
- Open communication style and approachable when interacting with customers
$65,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience)
