Healthcare Facility Manager

The Defence Joint Health Unit in Western Australia is seeking a highly motivated and outcomes-focused facility manager to join their dynamic team.
This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work in a complex environment with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide consistency and oversee the day-to-day management of the facility, be directly responsible for managing administrative and coordination activities, and ensure patients receive the highest possible standard of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing workforce rosters and coordinating procurement requests
- Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met
- Conducting governance and quality assurance activities
- Leading a small team and engaging with relevant stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for ADF members
Our ideal candidate has experience in managing a healthcare facility, is confident working independently in a dynamic environment, and has excellent interpersonal communication skills. They must also demonstrate sound judgment and knowledge to make decisions in the best interests of the patient and comply with legislation and policies.
As a team leader, they must have the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders both internally and externally. The ideal candidate must be flexible and adaptable, able to manage change and respond to tasks, and committed to ongoing professional development for themselves and their team.
The Defence Joint Health Unit provides high-quality healthcare services to members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) across eight regions in Australia.
