This is a key leadership opportunity in the South Western Sydney Local Health District. As a Senior Aged Care Professional, you will play a pivotal role in navigating sector reforms.
You'll lead an exceptionally skilled team of clinical and non-clinical assessors, along with Intake and Scheduling staff, driving excellence in assessment services. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive management structure within a larger community health environment, ensuring you have the support and resources to thrive.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline, have leadership experience in a healthcare or aged care setting, and possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive aged care assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with Commonwealth, State, and Local Health District requirements.
- Coordinating recruitment and task allocation for optimal efficiency and service quality.
- Resolving day-to-day operational issues effectively.
