About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service and Business Interface Lead to join our team at New Horizons. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and ensuring our teams work in harmony to deliver exceptional services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with enablement (corporate) and service delivery functions to drive operational efficiency and improve service delivery outcomes.
  • Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic guidance to both enablement (corporate) and frontline teams to achieve shared success and deliver exceptional services to our customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery outcomes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Leadership and Communication: Lead and manage teams of 5+ members, overseeing projects and ensuring deadlines and objectives are consistently met. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to manage cross-functional challenges, delivering at least 3 successful solutions that align with organisational goals.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a role bridging enablement (corporate) and service delivery functions, with evidence of leading initiatives that improved operational efficiency and service delivery outcomes.
  • Enablement Service Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of enablement (corporate) functions such as finance, procurement, IT, and HR, with at least 3 years of experience managing cross-functional processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Human Services Knowledge: At least 3 years of experience working in roles that involve delivering support and care services, such as in health, community, or social services. This includes managing programs that directly serve customers, ensuring that services meet industry standards, and focusing on improving customer outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, managing teams of 5+ members and overseeing projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are consistently met.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills, evidenced by successfully managing relationships with at least 5 key stakeholders and leading negotiations or collaborations that resulted in measurable outcomes.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Experience navigating compliance regulations, with a proven track record of meeting quality and legal standards in service delivery and enablement (corporate) operations.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, management, community services, or a related field is essential. An associate diploma with substantial experience will also be considered. Alternatively, candidates with less formal qualifications but specialised skills and equivalent professional experience may be eligible, provided they can demonstrate the required competencies for the role.
