Job Role:

As a dedicated care professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Working as a disability support worker will involve providing personalized assistance and support to individuals with complex physical needs.

Key responsibilities will include delivering services that cater to the unique needs of each client, including support with personal care, bowel & catheter care, domestic duties, and community access.

  • Personal Care: Providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Bowel & Catheter Care: Supporting clients with bowel and catheter management, including using hoists for manual handling.
  • Domestic Duties: Assisting clients with household tasks and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Community Access: Accompanying clients on outings and supporting them in accessing community resources.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant qualifications and experience in providing support services to clients with complex needs. A Certificate III or IV in individual support, aged care or disability, or an Allied Health qualification is highly desirable.

Essential Requirements:

  • A valid NDIS Worker Check
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • A valid Manual Handling certificate
  • A valid Australian drivers licence and your own insured vehicle
  • A Certificate of Covid-19 Vaccination
