Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers to achieve project milestones and timelines.
- Manage job site activities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Manage construction sub-trades and suppliers on the job site and mitigate issues as they arise.
- Requisition materials and supplies.
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
- Prepare work progress reports.
- May manage the operations of the company.
- Select tools, equipment, and construction materials from storage and transport items to the work site.
- Assist and work closely with Concrete finishers, Carpenters, finishers, flooring, Drywall Installer, and painters to complete tasks.
- May also supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers, and labourers.
- Clean work areas, machines, equipment to maintain a clean and safe job site, free of debris.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Site Supervisory experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years siding, flooring, painting, concrete finishing (preferably) or carpentry experience.
- Punctual & reliable.
- Hardworking & self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Team player and a positive motivator.
- Safety conscience.
- Job site preparation and organization.
