Position Overview
Ventia is proud to collaborate with Qenos, seeking skilled Intermediate and/or Advanced Riggers and Scaffolders for casual employment opportunities at their facility.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve leveraging your experience in shutdown operations to execute and manage tasks related to maintenance activities.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $51.57 (plus 25% casual loading and superannuation)
  • Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA) and accommodation are not included
  • Work schedule will typically span Monday to Saturday, with 9.5-hour shifts

Candidate Profile

  • Successful applicants must be able to pass a medical examination.
  • Previous experience in similar roles, particularly with various cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Proficient in developing and adhering to risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) is essential.
  • Experience with Permit to Work systems and compliance with related conditions.
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to work safely at heights.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively at all levels.

Required Qualifications and Licenses

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High Risk Work License – Intermediate and/or Advanced Rigging (RB/RI/RA).
  • Working Safely at Heights certification (valid within the last 2 years) with the ability to arrange a refresher course if necessary.
  • Confined Space certification (valid within the last 2 years) with the ability to arrange a refresher course if necessary.
  • Ability to pass a medical examination.
  • High Risk EWP & LF licenses are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
  • Open or C6 Crane License is advantageous but not required.
