Farid Forklift and Car Repair is seeking experienced Motor Mechanics to expand its team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about automotive repair and have a strong understanding of mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, test, and repair complex vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering.
  • Perform regular vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Replace defective parts in engines, transmissions, braking, and cooling systems.
  • Tune engines and ensure that vehicles operate smoothly and safely.
  • Perform complex overhauls on major vehicle systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues and provide recommendations for repair solutions.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure all repairs meet company standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Relevant TRADE qualifications, such as Certificate III/IV.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Motor Mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and mechanical operations.
  • Australian drivers' license and ability to drive manual vehicles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
