Our team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a key role within our Access Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating effective patient flow to support timely, safe and person-centred care.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team at our Digital Coordination Centre.

The successful candidate will possess strong clinical nursing experience, with a focus on assessing critical situations and managing competing demands. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Assess critical situations and manage competing demands
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Coordinate patient flow and provide high quality patient care
  • Manage target time frames and meeting access and triage targets
  • Allocate patients to beds according to clinical priority

**Key Qualifications and Skills**

We are seeking a registered nurse with:

  • At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Bed Manager or After Hours Hospital Manager experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
  • High level of reliability and professional conduct
  • High motivation and willingness to learn
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
