The Role

This position involves working with clients with complex care and medical needs across their lifespan to identify and address barriers to implementing their NDIS plans.

The role requires building relationships with clients, their families, disability service organizations, clinical staff, and government departments, including health, education, communities, and justice.

As a collaborative approach, Eunoia Lane ensures supports are delivered in a person-centred and timely manner.

The position focuses on building a foundation for best practice care, staff training, support, and intervention, ultimately leading to positive and sustainable outcomes following crises.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in social work or a relevant discipline (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Nursing, or other Allied Health).
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Active listening skills and empathy.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Working with Children card; NDIS Worker Screening; Police check (within 6 months); current Driver's Licence and a roadworthy vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with clients with dual diagnoses; experience in Forensic Disability or Forensic Mental Health is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness and ability to travel by car, 4WD, or light aircraft to rural and remote settings.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and an interest in indigenous advancement.
  • Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and their support networks.
