About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Educator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Australian children while building your career in early childhood education.

As a Trainee Educator, you will play a vital role in giving children the best possible start to their school journey. You will work closely with our Centre Leadership Team and colleagues to deliver high-quality education programs that meet the needs of all children.

Your Impact

You will maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members, complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and our policies, procedures, and requirements. You will also build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families, actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.

Requirements

To be eligible for a Traineeship, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. You should also possess:

  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Flexible availability
  • Interest in early years education
  • Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Additional Requirements

In addition to the above requirements, you will need to provide proof of immunisation against COVID-19, measles, mumps, and rubella, and whooping cough (pertussis).
