About Our Childcare Role

This role is an integral part of our childcare centre, directly reporting to the Director of Childcare.

Our childcare centre provides a premium early childhood program for children aged 6 months to school years in a supportive and secure environment. We aim to deliver high-quality early learning programs that foster children's sense of wellbeing and personal confidence.

Our Centre has achieved a rating of meeting all areas in the National Quality Standards Assessment - we are committed to child safety and welfare by empowering children, engaging with families and ensuring all employees understand that child safety and wellbeing is everyone's responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 6 months to school years.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for each child.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of child needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A passion for innovative care and education of children.
  • Highly motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience working with infants, toddlers and preschool aged children is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a diverse range of parents, carers and their children.
  • A willingness to learn and be supported by qualified educators.
