Job Title: General Manager for Special Purpose Vehicle

About the Role:
The Ngardara Project is an innovative community-led approach to renewable electricity for a remote Northern Territory township. The General Manager for Special Purpose Vehicle will oversee the day-to-day operations of the SPV, ensuring compliance with governance, legal, regulatory, and financial obligations across all project phases.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Co-Secretarial functions, leading the preparation of board and committee documentation, and maintaining strong reporting and stakeholder engagement processes. They will coordinate project communications, support financial administration, oversee regulatory filings, and ensure compliance with project, credit and services agreements.

Key Requirements:
- Background in law, finance, business or governance (company secretarial qualifications a plus)
- 3–5+ years' experience in SPVs, co-operatives, or similar compliance roles
- Strong grasp of governance, legal and financial reporting requirements
- Skilled in board coordination, contract review, and stakeholder reporting
- Organised, detail-oriented, and confident using accounting systems
- Culturally competent, with experience in First Nations contexts preferred
