Finance Specialist Lead

This role involves leading the department's financial reform initiatives, working closely with senior management and various divisions to develop and implement effective funding policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice and operational support in relation to the department's funding arrangements, including identifying and delivering process improvements that align with policy objectives.

A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field is essential for this role. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders is also highly valued.

  • The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
