About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Finance Business Partner to join our Australia Operations Finance team at Goodman Fielder.

As a key business partner to the Operations Regional Hub Managers and the broader Operations Leadership Team, you will provide financial expertise, leadership, management, and support to site management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the integrated business planning processes for the Erskine Park Manufacturing Hub.
  • Ensure all inputs to the integrated business planning processes are robust and owned by the Site Operations Team.
  • Partner with the Site Operations Leadership Team to ensure they deliver on their functional commitments as part of the AU business long-term targets.
  • Determine and understand key cost drivers and measure performance against targets.
  • Provide insightful commentary on financial performance, identifying opportunities to drive EBIT improvement.
  • Complete scenario modeling and work with the Site Operations Leadership Team to drive profit delivery initiatives.
  • Complete Inventory Management and Monthly management reporting.
  • Perform product costing, utilization analysis, and manufacturing reporting.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and understand gaps to budget, including risks and opportunities.
  • Provide business partnering support to the Erskine Park Operations Hub managers, in addition to the Grocery Leadership Team, Operations Leadership Team, and various other functions.
  • Create business case financials for Erskine Park Site Operations projects, including Capex proposal, ensuring key risks and alternatives are considered.
  • Monitor performance on Erskine Park Site Operations projects against EBIT and Capex targets.
  • Provide accurate conversion costs to the commercial teams for new products and revised pricing plans.
  • All Capex financial modeling creation and approval through proper channels and managed to budget.
  • Review and maintain a strong control environment, with documented controls and procedures in place. Input and review through ongoing self-assessment of supply chain controls to deliver clean Internal and External audit reports.
  • Improve tools, templates, and systems used in the planning and forecasting process to ensure robustness of submissions with improved ease and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Degree Qualified (Commerce or Finance)
  • CA/CPA or MBA qualification (desired)
  • 5+ years analytical business partnering experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and/or understanding of manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Sound understanding of management accounting in a manufacturing environment, and issues affecting a manufacturing business
  • Cost and management accounting experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organisation and external parties
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management
  • Strong SAP experience, preferably as a Super User or designing process solutions and other systems (Business Intelligence, Excel, and reporting tools)
