Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operator / Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant and crane equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our depot.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Transmission Operations Team and contributing to the success of our business.

Your Role in Action
  • Operate and maintain plant and crane equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Support the Transmission Operations Team in their daily tasks.
  • Contribute to the success of our business through your skills and experience.
Required Skills and QualificationsKey Requirements
  • Valid WA C Class Drivers Licence to business requirements.
  • Valid WA HC Licence (minimum).
  • High Risk Crane licence class C6 (essential).
  • JCB Loader experience would be preferred but not essential.
  • Western Power Crane Supplementary would be preferred but not essential.
  • High Risk Licence class Forklift (preferred).
  • Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment).
  • Prior experience in providing non-trade support in an operational team environment.
  • Demonstrate Western Power's constructive behaviours and values.
