Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the efficient operation of our plant equipment and machinery.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal functioning of our production processes.

  1. Performing scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery according to established procedures
  2. Responding to equipment breakdowns and resolving issues to minimize downtime
  3. Carrying out repairs, replacements, and refurbishments of parts, components, and systems
  4. Supporting equipment installation, relocation, and modification as needed
  5. Awareness of continuous improvement opportunities through maintenance activities
  6. Accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities, including DT Reports and Work Orders
  7. Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  8. Maintaining 5S standards in all work areas
  9. Collaborating with teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and ability to perform Dynamic Risk Assessments
  • Effective communication skills
