Landscaper Role

This role is available in a retirement estate with a focus on maintaining gardens and grounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in gardening, grounds development, and maintenance.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Horticultural and grounds development, maintenance and monitoring.
  • Garden beds re-planting and maintenance to maximise seasonal conditions.
  • Pruning of trees and shrubs.
  • Lawn mowing, edging, fertilising and weeding.
  • Clearing and removal of garden refuse.
  • Path, drains and edge repair and maintenance.
  • Ensuring that fences and retaining walls are maintained in good repair.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or related field.
  • Previous experience in general and commercial maintenance and gardening.
  • Knowledge of trade resources and suppliers of materials.
  • Current manual driver's licence.
  • Exceptional people and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
