Gardening Opportunity

Our Retirement Estate in Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Gardener/Maintenance Officer to join our team.

As part of our Gardening-Maintenance team, you will work closely with the Estate Manager and Gardeners to ensure the establishment and upkeep of gardens and grounds within this Estate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Horticultural development and maintenance to maximise seasonal conditions.
  • Pruning of trees and shrubs, lawn mowing, edging, fertilising and weeding.
  • Clearing and removal of garden refuse, repair and maintenance of paths, drains and fences.
  • Undertaking routine maintenance tasks and repairs within the site.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens or related field.
  • Previous experience and knowledge in gardening and general maintenance.
  • Manual driver's licence and trade resources knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
