Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a skilled Solution Architect, you will be responsible for producing high-quality architectures and designs for enterprise ICT solutions.

You will develop and maintain business, information, and technical architectures and designs for the enterprise ICT portfolio in accordance with best practices and relevant standards.

  • Developing detailed design specifications aligned with business requirements.
  • Translating business needs into coherent and effective technical options.
  • Performing architectural reviews of business cases, implementation strategy, and solution architecture specifications.
  • Contributing to and delivering ICT change management and Service Level Management artefacts.
  • Partnering with stakeholders and external suppliers/vendors to develop strategic working relationships.
  • Developing cost estimates for solution architectures and designs.
  • Contributing to the development of strategic project plans and schedules.
  • Identifying solution architecture resource requirements according to project schedules and ICT deliverables.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate experience in technology design, including integration of technologies, and specialist knowledge in multiple architecture domains, network, and web architectures.

Additionally, well-developed communication skills and a customer service mentality are essential for building relationships, consulting, and negotiating to fully address client needs.
