Residential Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Residential Design Specialist to deliver high-quality residential outcomes through the creation of compliant, buildable and sustainable designs.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of liveability and sustainability principles and be able to apply innovative design concepts across various housing types.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive documentation for residential developments including DA, CDC and CC submissions
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, construction, estimating and procurement
- E nsure all work aligns with planning regulations, building codes and internal quality standards
- Apply design principles that balance functionality and aesthetics
- Contribute to internal design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives
Mandatory qualifications and skills include:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential design
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture or Building Design
- Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD and/or Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
- Solid knowledge of NSW planning legislation and building codes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Preferred qualifications and skills include:
- Experience in large-scale or masterplanned developments
